What's new and what's been fixed around the tavern, newest first.
3 new systems added from requests made, now selectable when creating a new table or editing an existing one.
A rare timing bug in the Crypt of the Fallen could give two tales the same tomb, hiding one of them. Tombs are now reserved the instant a tale is published, and a tale you archive and later republish returns to its original resting place.
The Tales page now opens with five category tiles: All Tales, Session Recap, Character Lore, World Lore, and Tales of the Fallen. Each tile shows how many stories it holds, and choosing one shows just that kind of tale, so recaps and lore no longer get buried under the fallen. The search box sits right beside the category name and works within whichever lane you pick.
DMs can now upload maps and handouts to their table's new Campaign Resources gallery. Table members can browse them full-screen, save any image to their device, or grab the whole set with one Download All button. Every image has a Report flag, and admins now get a notification whenever anything on the site is reported. Story pages also now link an author's name to their profile.
The site got a round of polish. Tables now show their banner artwork on the Game Tables page, and the game nights on your homepage glow in their calendar colours, so red weeks and blue weeks are obvious at a glance. Tapping the Cork D&D name at the top of any page now brings you home, a DM's name on a table page now takes you to their profile, and table pages sit more comfortably on phones.
If you always play with the same table, you can stop RSVPing every week. Tick "Auto-RSVP" on your table's page and you will be marked as Coming to each of its upcoming sessions automatically, including ones already on the calendar. Can't make one week? Just change that session's RSVP as normal, your answer always wins. Untick the box anytime. Also fixed: a DM cancelling one week of a repeating session no longer stops the following weeks from being scheduled.
Curious about what's new? The site now keeps a changelog, a running list of every update written in plain English, going all the way back to day one. You will find it through the "See what's changed recently" link at the bottom of the About page. New posts appear automatically shortly after each update goes live.
A round of fixes and refinements:
Something special has been unearthed under Resources: the Mausoleum, an explorable underground crypt you can walk through right in your browser. Wander a torch-lit hallway of tombs, each one holding a fallen character from our Tales of the Fallen, step up to a tomb and press the prompt to read their obituary where they rest. Stone effigies, drifting fog, flickering candles and some suitably unsettling sounds set the mood, and it works on your phone with on-screen controls too. Every fallen hero gets a tomb, so go pay your respects, if you dare.
The Dungeon Master no longer takes up a player seat, so a "6 player" table really means six players plus the DM. In practice every existing table has gained one seat, so DMs may want to double-check their player limits. There is a new story type, Tales of the Fallen, for honouring characters who met their end, with its own rose-coloured badge, and you can now filter the Tales feed by story type and the Game Tables page by game system. Story authors can also archive their own tales and republish them later, instead of archiving being a one-way trip.
