What's new and what's been fixed around the tavern, newest first.
Mostly behind-the-scenes work to make the nightly tidy-up of past events and other scheduled chores run more reliably.
The email verification prompts are clearer and resending a verification email is more reliable. The site now has proper Privacy and Terms pages, and we retired Sign in with Apple since almost everyone uses Google or a password.
Two annoying bugs on the library item edit page are gone: the category and condition dropdowns now show the item's actual values instead of defaults, and the Save Changes button actually saves your changes.
New tools to keep the community healthy: you can report a post or comment that breaks the rules and the admins will review it. Admins can also post site-wide announcement banners for important news. Past sessions and game nights now tidy themselves away automatically each night, and a new info section helps newcomers find out about the club.
A big sweep through the suggestion box. There is a new searchable Members page so you can find fellow adventurers, and you can now change your username from your profile, with @mentions of you automatically following you to your new name. Tables can be linked to game nights, and the calendar now shows upcoming sessions for tables you belong to, even before you RSVP. Date pickers are friendlier and pages load a bit quicker too.
A few fixes to the new report-a-bug button so it works smoothly for everyone.
Spotted something broken? There is now a report-a-bug button on every page. It even takes a snapshot of what you were looking at so we can find and fix the problem faster. The guided site tours got a little polish too.
Further tidying of how updates reach the site.
Some housekeeping to how the site is published, nothing you will notice.
The site is now called Cork Table Top, refreshed everywhere from the logo to the emails we send. New members verify their email address before joining tables, RSVPing or using the shop and library, which keeps the community trustworthy. Your avatar now shows up beside your posts, comments and RSVPs, with a stylish initial for anyone who has not uploaded a picture yet.
