After the Palace

The meeting at the palace ended with missions from King Errip.
- Find Luna and her collaborators; and who is helping them.
- Go to Ixis and find out where the wizard got access and who worked with them.
- Go to Granix/New Straits and locate the materials used in the strange Biscun devices.

The king retired to his private office and asked for a word with Apollonius.
Grand Advisor Mothra also moved quietly to his private office with a stern nod to Majesty to join.

In the palace meeting room, Nattari was foisted from the throne that she blatantly tried to glue herself to. She quieted herself by perusing the fruit selection. When the team was escorted outside, they met with Elja who was sipping on some Buckstars nonchalantly. Apparently she was there the whole time.

Captain Skern, the head of the Kings personal guard wearing regal silver and blue dragon themed military uniform, met them to give each member a badge of a silver dragon to deputise them. He informed them, with disdain, that this does not give them the right to do whatever they want but it will get them access to places. He mentioned that there are magic/item shops in the city under the tab of the King (within reason) and pointed them towards the King's tailor to straighten up their appearance.

The party went to the tailors first:
- Nattari got a skirt/pant combo, with a brown leather corset and proper boots. She opted for a reversable red/dark brown full length trench coat.
- Elja got more plain affair - pants, shirt and top in nondescript browns/blues to go under her cloak and soft leather shoes. She marveled at her first ever set of clothes made and tailored ot her.
- Theodora opted for a snug one-piece in leather to give plenty of support. Her wolf pelts were made into the lining/interior of a full length leather coat with the Alpha Wolf stripe up the back.
- Majesty wanted plain affair with a long dark purple coat.
- Apollonius had his armour polished and added a Cape of Billowing for 10gp.

The Antagonists trekked back to the Boar's End to pick up Luna's trail. On the way, they passed by a busy square where someone shouldered Nattari quite hard. As Nattari was about to claw the persons shoulder in retribution, the person turned and was revealed to be Liriel, the elf that she and Majesty bested in the Inn of the Seas singing competition. She screamed "Cheaters" at the two but recoiled when she saw Nattari wearing the limited edition "Bejeweled" pink flowly robe - "How can defile such a piece of art?!". A circle in the crowd started to form and Liriel's entourage parroting everythign she says. Liriel struck out to claw Nattari and thought she had struck but with the help of Majesty, Nattari was able to feign hurt and disfigurement. Nattari struck out herself and grabbed Liriel's hair into her fist and sliced it off, cutting close and into her scalp. Nattari came away with her fist full of silver hair. Liriel fell to the ground in horror and as she was scrambling in the dirt to get awy - Nattari reached down with the fist of hair and to add more insult, snapped the moon necklace from around Liriel's neck. Liriel scrambled in the dirt away from them, screaming about getting revenge between sobs. Her entourage was shocked and dismayed but followed her through the crowds.

At the Boar's End, Apollonius guided them through the alleys and to the spot where Luna disappeared. Elja investigated closely and could find evidence of the door but no way to get in. It looked like it needed to be opened from the inside. After deliberation of how to get through - a Knock spell would potentially be too loud. Apollonius and Theodora attempted to push against the wall and managed to open the door a few inches. It was enough for Elja to unlock it.

Inside they found a small room, not attached to the neighbouring building. All that was there was a manhole with a ladder going down. The team descended with Elja in the front. Agapetus stayed behind to keep watch just in case. The tunnel they found was made of hewn stone and smelled of damp - at least it wasn't a sewer. They advanced in the darkness until they remembered that the human rogue could not see well. They managed to get to an opening where they lit a lamp for visibility. They saw a room with a trapdoor in the centre. A quick perception allowed Elja to see a trip wire leading to a rusty flail ready to crash down - it had been there some time.

The rogue disabled the trap and the party entered the room. Elja went straight for the trap door but before they could try it, a wierd glob pulled down from the ceiling. She moved away in time for a large gelationous cube to occupy the space of the trapdoor. Three other cubes descended from the ceiling and attacked the group.

Apollonius and Theodora ended up engulfed by cubes with the other dancing around them. Elja thought it was odd that theses cubes would attack anyone coming in here, there must be some trick. She pondered the ooze and remembered that perhaps they were warded off by something. She shouted to Nattari to try the coin from the frozen dwarf. Nattari produced the coin which glowed blue. The cubes shuddered and moved away into the walls. Theodora was able to get the last hit in before the cube that engulfed her escaped. The cube dissolved into a few inches of acidic goo. It melted most of the party's shoes except Majestys.

The team were able to open the trapdoor and prepared themselves for what was down there.
