Continuing the March to Ilias Forest

The Happenings of this session:

• The party has split - Cain accompanying Dagon and his fellow worshipers of Gai-Elith, to Ilias Forest. The rest of the party decided to follow something that John and Hassan had spotted - a glowing pebble sized orb. It appeared to them to shudder and twitch, until they spotted it, at which point it zipped back to Dussendorf.

• Through a ritual of Gai-Elith, John ascertained that the glowing pebble was indeed a herald of danger, and that the party should be ready for a fight, either on their way to Dussendorf, or when they arrive there.

• The party tracking back to Dussendorf was beset by not one but two night haunters, and one other special event, which I will detail later.
  The party first defeated the Lung Man - Hassan besting it in combat with his fire-breath, and obtaining an accursed object of power - a pound of the Lung Man's flesh - that allows him to not need to breathe for up to 8hrs (Can be used consecutively, but can also be used for x amount of time over multiple uses, up to the stated total).
  John suffered night terrors from the Lung Man, stealing his breath from his body in his sleep. Mickey's attempted attunement to John in his attempts to help him, unfortunately yielded little results.

• The session ended with a cliffhanger on the second Night Haunter encounter.
  Naturally, Nifty wanted something she wasn't willing to bargain for (fair, given the dodgy dealings of "a favor" and "her most precious childhood memory", and attempted to brawl the Caravan Merchant for it. Having immediately disappeared, Nifty now finds herself in a very odd position, suddenly in the merchant's body, but when they were merely a child.

• As for Micky Stone - he experienced something very, very strange altogether. A fall into a pocket dimension. The entire history of existence, what existence could've been, what it won't be, what it will be, and everything outside and in-between infinite possibilities and un-realities. He managed to maintain a glimmer of knowledge from the experience. Something that undermines all of Xanartha's fundamental principles of faith.

• And lastly, Cain, while accompanying Dagon's group, spotted what looked like a particular glowing, delicate, almost sublime looking butterfly he was warned to refuse to capture/gather when a particular person may ask him to.

And so, the adventure continues, next time.
